Word Zen is a fabulous puzzle that combines two classic and addictive games, mahjongg and scrabble. With an attractive layout, many levels to play, plus a lot of interesting features, this game is a must-have for those who love word games.
As in the classic scrabble, the main goal of this game is to create words by combining lettered tiles. Instead of the conventional grid, we will find mahjongg layouts, where we have to create our words by clicking on free tiles. The score will depend upon the length and complexity of words. Besides, each stage has a fixed score goal we have to achieve before the time bar runs out.
Before starting our game, we can choose among four levels of difficulty, ranging from apprentice to grandmaster. In turn, the game offers two game modes to play. One invites us to embark on a mission with the objective of building a Zen garden. The other, is the freestyle mode, and we can select the layout we prefer at any moment.
Graphics have been wonderfully done; the game interface features a lot of colors with smooth animations, accompanied by relaxing music and sounds of nature, which capture the essence of Zen culture.
